Andrea Snow Moore

When I began attending yoga classes ten years ago my intention was to add some stretching into my regular fitness routine. Posture and flexibility have always been a challenge for me and after years of pounding the pavement while training for and running marathons, slowing down and placing some mindful attention on my body was a novel idea.  The physical benefits of yoga were easily noticed, but I became a lifelong student as I realized the deeper aspects of what this practice offers. My heartbeat. My breath. Connection. Life lessons of consciousness, mindfulness and recognition that we are all one, is what it’s all about. I am so excited to share the grace and strength of this practice with others.  I am also proud to be partnered with my dear friend and fellow yoga teacher, Hannah Bias on a nonprofit called, Urban Lotus Project. Urban Lotus Project takes yoga and meditation to at risk, underserved youth in the Reno-Sparks Community. It has been an amazing experience to say the least, and to be able to give back and support those in need, through this life changing practice, fills my heart.

I have always called Reno my home. I am so appreciative of the incredible support network of family and friends that surround me in this awesome city. I am sharing this journey with my family and beautiful children….my teachers who remind me daily with their encouraging smiles and love that I know I’m on the right path because I’m uninterested in looking back.

Congratulations to Our Member of the Month!

Megan: 25 years old, born and raised in Truckee California. Moved to Reno in 2012 and started college at TMCC. Graduated TMMC in 2014 with associates in business. I started at Camelot from 2014 to 2016. Then I decided to pursue a career in management which led me back to Camelot in 2018. During my time away Camelot I started free-lance marketing and decided to get my BS in Digital marketing. I will be graduating this fall with my BS and going back to school for my masters. My hobby right now is photography and just started developing a podcast.  love to immerse myself in creative things and expand my knowledge. I love the event industry and very excited to see where this journey takes me!

Camelot: Founded by Sharon Dumke, the company came to life in her backyard shed. 27 years later, our humble idea has expanded into an unimaginable business. Then Sharon sold the business to Douglas Barrera in 2007. From there it has expanded and changed into one of the top local rental companies.

The former 5,000 square foot building is now a sprawling 30,000 sq.ft. expansion. Established with local roots, we believe in the importance of supporting fellow community businesses and families. The approach is simple- provide quality products and seasoned knowledge to make every experience special!
